Red Papaya and Radish Pork Soup

 I love Red Papaya, however it is very expensive in Australia, so once in a while, I indulge myself ha ha.
This is another soup that is easy to prepare, sweet and tasty.
 

 

Red Papaya and Radish Pork Soup

Red Papaya and Radish Pork Soup

 

 

Ingredients

  • 300g Lean Pork
  • 200g red papaya
  • 100g carrot
  • 100g white radish
  • 30g dried scallop
  • coriander for garnish
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • pinch of pepper

 Preparations

  • cut lean pork into long stripes, blanch them in boiling water
  • cut radish, carrot and papaya onto medium chunks
  • in soup pot, add hot water, pork, dried scallop and radish and let it boil then turn low heat, after 1/2 hour add in carrot and papaya. continue on low heat for an hour. when serving, add salt and pepper, garnish with coriander.
